Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to maintain code quality, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
- Develop a scalable, state-of-the-art dubbing experience for YouTube creators.
- Partner with Google DeepMind and YouTube Infrastructure teams to prototype rapidly and scale research solutions across YouTube.
- Establish evaluation frameworks, including AutoRaters, to measure and iterate on product performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- Three years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and one year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience prototyping and shipping ML products.
- Experience designing and developing services for user-facing traffic.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: three years of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
- Preferred: three years of experience with applied ML and scaling products.
- Preferred: one year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience developing accessible technologies and knowledge or interest in video accessibility are preferred.
