Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly resilient, scalable, and performant solutions for complex healthcare problems.
- Build scalable web applications and backend services across the full application delivery stack.
- Participate in technical and product discussions with engineering, product, and business leaders.
- Work independently while applying strong design, communication, and solution practices.
- Continuously improve engineering excellence, testing, and automation standards.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of software development experience, including significant experience building scalable distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Expertise with Node.js, Java, Spring, JavaScript or TypeScript, SQL, relational databases, and web APIs.
- Experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Jest, or Vitest.
- Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, distributed systems, Shift Left practices, and test automation.
- Effective communication, self-motivation, ownership, independence, and teamwork.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with generative AI, machine learning, predictive algorithms, statistics, healthcare, Kafka, and data pipeline technologies.
