Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architectures, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, develop, simulate, and execute automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Improve and maintain automation frameworks and develop reusable libraries across technology stacks and business lines.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, usage cases, technical specifications, and automation backlogs.
- Develop and update automated testing tools and software validation processes.
- Track defects, resolutions, bug fixes, mitigation techniques, and automation coverage metrics.
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders on product requirements, acceptance criteria, continuous deployment practices, and issue resolution.
- Perform backend and database programming for key projects when required.
- Document automation processes, test cases, debugging data, project outcomes, and performance reviews according to company standards.
Requirements
- Three to five years of professional experience.
- Mandatory experience with mainframe batch scheduling.
- Experience designing and executing automated testing for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Ability to develop automation frameworks, reusable libraries, test tools, and software validation processes.
- Ability to perform backend and database programming for key projects.
- Ability to collaborate with developers, testers, business subject matter experts, users, clients, and project managers.
- Knowledge of software design practices, accepted design patterns, documentation standards, and industry standards.
