Responsibilities
- Apply NLP and AI/ML techniques to develop model systems and solutions for healthcare.
- Collaborate with product leaders, data scientists, and healthcare professionals to integrate advanced solutions.
- Design, build, and evaluate solutions involving structured and unstructured data for healthcare use cases.
- Conduct research and experimentation to select appropriate algorithms and evaluation methods.
- Oversee data collection, cleaning, analysis, and model training for responsible AI solutions.
- Provide mentorship on advanced AI, NLP, and machine learning methods.
Requirements
- PhD or comparable experience in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-10+ years of industry experience in commercial SaaS, with at least 4 years in NLP or AI/ML for healthcare.
- Expert-level experience in Natural Language Processing and fine-tuning LLMs and Transformer models.
- Significant experience in building and deploying AI/machine learning models for large-scale SaaS products.
- Proficiency in Python and Java, with additional skills in JavaScript or TypeScript preferred.
- Experience with big data processing frameworks and public cloud infrastructure for machine learning.
