Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise Java applications.
- Develop features and enhancements based on business and technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot applications, resolve defects, and support performance optimization.
- Perform unit testing and support system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to deliver software solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation.
- Follow software engineering standards, coding best practices, and secure development principles.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Exposure to RESTful APIs, web services, or modern application architectures is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and business environments.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team.
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain required security clearance and site access approvals.
- Preferred exposure to Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JUnit, Git, Maven, Jenkins, cloud platforms, and container technologies.
