Responsibilities
- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise software applications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and execute unit tests using appropriate testing frameworks.
- Perform system integration testing, troubleshoot application issues, and support defect resolution.
- Support User Acceptance Testing activities.
- Assist with application deployment, release, and change management activities.
- Support system audits, vulnerability assessments, and security testing initiatives.
- Create, update, and maintain technical and system documentation.
- Collaborate with team members using Agile and modern software development practices.
- Learn and apply cloud platforms, emerging technologies, and AI-assisted software development tools.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or graduation in 2024, 2025, or 2026.
- Foundational knowledge of Java programming.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and modern software development practices.
- Interest in AI-driven software development and emerging technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and learn new technologies.
- Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
- Must have graduated in 2024, 2025, or 2026 from a university, polytechnic, ITE, or another educational institution.
- Must not participate in another full-time traineeship, employment, or government-funded training programme during the traineeship period.
