IntuitResponsibilities
- Lead cross-team initiatives and collaborations with internal teams, external partners, clients, and industry groups.
- Gather functional requirements, develop technical specifications, and lead project and test planning.
- Design and implement scalable web applications and services while spending roughly 60% of the time coding.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for web technologies and make strategic technology decisions.
- Mentor engineers and lead a small team solving complex programming and design problems.
- Solve ambiguous customer problems end to end with accountability for delivery.
- Create technical documentation and PowerPoint presentations explaining architectural and design options.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise-class web applications.
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing robust, highly scalable services.
- Practical experience with GraphQL, Kubernetes, Kafka, and ActiveMQ.
- Strong JavaScript application design and testing experience, including 5+ years where specified.
- 7+ years of experience with mid-tier technologies such as Node and Java.
- Experience with scalable web application development, accessibility, internationalization, instrumentation, and cross-browser and cross-platform constraints.
- Experience with algorithms, design patterns, relational database design and implementation, and test automation.
- Experience with UI frameworks such as React, Backbone, and Angular.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and demonstrate strategic thinking and business acumen.
