Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and self-healing systems with patterns such as circuit breakers, graceful degradation, and rate limiting.
- Build and optimize telemetry pipelines for metrics, logs, traces, anomaly detection, alert correlation, and noise reduction.
- Develop software automation, self-service infrastructure APIs, and predictive operational workflows.
- Lead load testing, performance tuning, and AI-enabled capacity forecasting.
- Establish SLOs and SLIs and translate production health data into engineering priorities.
- Lead complex production-event response using LLM-assisted diagnostics and AI-native agents for root-cause analysis and faster MTTR.
- Design sustainable on-call and ownership models across engineering teams.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as Java, Python, or Node.js, with a focus on maintainable software.
- Practical experience with AIOps, automated log analysis, intelligent triage, and machine-learning models applied to system telemetry.
- Advanced experience building and operating resilient cloud-native architectures on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency with OpenTelemetry and modern metrics, logging, and distributed-tracing systems.
- Experience with automated testing, SDLC concepts, Linux application development, algorithms, data structures, and software design.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and load-balancing strategies in distributed systems.
- Strong collaboration, communication, analytical, and incident-response capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field involving programming.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in Software Engineering, Platform/DevOps Engineering, or Systems Design.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, service meshes, and ingress controllers.
