Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with market quants and technology teams to integrate functionality, support product deployments, and identify system enhancements.
- Develop and maintain Python applications and contribute to application architecture, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
- Analyze complex business processes, system architectures, and industry standards to resolve high-impact problems and deliver scalable solutions.
- Work with workflow orchestration, real-time data streaming, cloud storage, databases, containerization, and observability technologies.
- Assess technical and business risks, support regulatory compliance, and transparently manage and escalate control issues.
- Provide technical guidance and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on application development experience, including 3 or more years of dedicated Python application development.
- Strong Python proficiency, including object-oriented programming, development best practices, and performance optimization.
- Experience developing and consuming web APIs, using FastAPI, and working with JSON and other data interchange formats.
- Experience with Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka, Amazon S3, SQL Server, Oracle Database, Amazon EKS, Docker, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and working with cloud-native technologies and observability stacks.
- Proven contribution to successful project delivery and technical initiatives, with strong problem-solving, ownership, adaptability, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience with Trino, Starburst, Pinot, and Spark is a plus.

- Salary range of $120,800.00–$170,800.00 per year.
