Base Salary
$110k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship full-stack features end-to-end as a member of a Pod.
- Develop APIs and integrate with external services and databases.
- Build front-end interfaces focusing on user experience and accessibility.
- Design and implement AI-powered features to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to shape design decisions.
- Contribute to scope and tradeoff decisions alongside your Pod Lead.
- Optimize application performance through efficient algorithms and caching.
- Write thorough unit and integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Share production support responsibility on a rotating basis.
- Stay current with emerging AI tools and full-stack technologies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Comfort working across frontend and backend technologies.
- Understanding of systems operation, cloud platforms, and data structures.
- Ability to quickly get up to speed on unfamiliar code.
- Track record of owning outcomes and communicating progress.
- Experience diagnosing and debugging complex issues.
- Hands-on experience with modern AI developer tools.
- Experience integrating AI or ML capabilities into web applications is a plus.
- Github activity showing thoughtful contributions is preferred.
