Responsibilities

  • Review functional business requirements and develop test plans, test specifications, effort estimates, and test reports.
  • Build, implement, and maintain functional and manual tests for clearing systems.
  • Perform end-to-end testing across application components and integration points.
  • Coordinate test case handover, execution, and sign-off with the NCCP Automation team.
  • Analyze and mitigate issues arising from test failures, including test data and environment bottlenecks.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of functional testers.
  • Support and test new business initiatives, products, programs, and processes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of functional/manual QA experience, including two years of hands-on automation experience.
  • Strong experience in Trading and Clearing domains and financial markets.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing, SQL, and database concepts.
  • Proficiency in test effort estimation, test planning, and test reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Java.
  • Experience working in Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Post-trade or financial market experience is preferred.
  • Experience with failover, performance, or security-related testing is preferred.
