Base Salary
$198k - $277k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop efficient, maintainable software using TypeScript, Java, and Go.
- Build web interfaces with React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
- Implement and deploy machine learning models in production environments in collaboration with Data Scientists.
- Evaluate, integrate, and extend products using GraphQL and REST web services.
- Deploy and operate software on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
- Implement containerization and orchestration using Git, Docker, and AWS ECS.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members across Blue Origin sites.
- Maintain documentation for tools, processes, and experiments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience writing software and deploying it to production.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Java, and Go.
- Experience deploying web interfaces using React or similar frameworks.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and cross-team collaboration.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive culture.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.
- Preferred: advanced AWS experience; C, C++, or Rust experience; distributed systems design; serverless deployments; relational database schema design; and project management skills.
