Responsibilities

Lead and design the evolution of service discovery and communication frameworks.
Maintain tier-0 availability and performance standards for critical interservice communication infrastructure.
Collaborate with security teams to enforce authentication, encryption, and policy across service communication layers.
Guide engineering decisions and mentor junior engineers to elevate the team’s technical proficiency.
Anticipate infrastructure growth and proactively implement scalable, efficient solutions.

Experience leading teams operating Kubernetes-based platforms at scale on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Expertise in service meshes (e.g., Istio), DNS systems (e.g., CoreDNS, Unbound), and proxies (e.g., Envoy).
Deep understanding of secure communication and experience partnering with security teams on policy and encryption implementations.
Proven track record of driving the adoption of scalable internal networking and service discovery standards.
Strong communication skills with a history of high-impact technical leadership and mentoring.
