Base Salary
$126k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead application systems analysis and programming activities for new and revised application systems.
- Partner with management and technology teams to integrate functions, define system enhancements, and deliver new products and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain applications using Angular and Java/J2EE with the Spring Boot and Spring Framework stack.
- Design and implement microservices and contribute to high- and low-level system architecture, including sequence and class diagrams.
- Establish and apply standards for coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and other SDLC activities.
- Analyze complex business and system processes to resolve high-impact problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as needed.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in application development or systems analysis.
- Expert-level knowledge of Angular 16 or higher.
- Expert-level hands-on knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework stack.
- Deep understanding of microservices and microservices best practices, with Spring Boot microservices highly preferred.
- Experience with Git-based source control and JIRA.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, OraaS, and SQL Server databases.
- Good understanding of Kafka is highly desirable.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, unit testing, systems analysis, design, architecture, and other SDLC activities.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, systems analysis, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
