Base Salary

$138k - $161k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable full-stack and front-end services using Ruby on Rails, React, & GraphQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-impact features for member care.
  • Expand and maintain existing web applications and infrastructure.
  • Debug and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions, code reviews, and tech debt prioritization.
  • Advocate for high engineering standards, including test coverage and documentation.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support system reliability.
  • Work with product managers and designers to scope and deliver product features.
  • Break down complex requirements into manageable units.
  • Identify areas for growth and advocate for them on the roadmap.
  • Improve self-service capabilities by evolving system architecture.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in software development with a focus on full-stack or front-end development.
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Typescript, or React.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with observability and experimentation tools.
  • Experience designing and maintaining GraphQL APIs.
  • Bonus: Experience with growth initiatives, authentication, or registration flows.
  • Experience in a healthcare or mental health tech environment.
