Base Salary
$250k - $315k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated technical owner for one or more large enterprise customers after contract signing.
- Ship code, reliable software, and systems carrying production traffic from day one.
- Develop deployment patterns for organizations with more than 100,000 employees.
- Scope ambiguous customer requests into shippable plans and protect the product from unnecessary forks.
- Design and deliver self-hosted and VPC deployments, SSO, and least-privilege access architectures.
- Build enterprise integrations with existing customer systems using minimally invasive approaches.
- Debug full-stack production issues and own them through resolution.
- Productize recurring deployment patterns into self-hosting packages, runbooks, and integration templates.
- Feed field knowledge back into the core product to prevent repeated solutions.
Requirements
- At least five years of software engineering experience with real production ownership, focused on backend work.
- Direct customer-facing experience, including explaining technical limitations while maintaining customer trust.
- Comfort with enterprise deployment realities, cloud infrastructure, networking, SSO, and compliance-conscious environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with executives and platform teams.
- Previous founding experience is a bonus.
- Experience in a forward deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or professional services role is a bonus.
