Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications, services, and APIs.
- Build and maintain ASP.NET Core REST APIs integrating with enterprise services, SQL Server databases, and internal or third-party systems.
- Develop Angular and TypeScript web applications with reusable components, routing, forms, and service-based API integration.
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions across application layers.
- Write secure, efficient, maintainable code using established engineering standards and design patterns.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to define and deliver solutions.
- Review code, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Troubleshoot complex defects, integration issues, performance problems, and production incidents.
- Implement resilient integrations with retry strategies, timeout handling, structured errors, and graceful downstream failure handling.
- Maintain OAuth/OIDC and JWT-based authentication and authorization flows with claims and role or permission checks.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment readiness, and DevOps practices.
- Support observability and production reliability through structured logging, correlation IDs, metrics, and distributed tracing.
- Document technical designs, processes, API contracts, and system architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful API development, TypeScript, and Angular.
- Experience with Angular features including RxJS, routing, forms, component design, and service-based API integration.
- Experience designing and maintaining layered architectures with services, repositories, domain models, and data access layers.
- Experience building APIs that consume and orchestrate multiple downstream services.
- Experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, parameterized queries, and performance-conscious data access.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, dependency injection, and maintainable software architecture.
- Experience with secure application development, OAuth/OIDC, JWT authentication, claims-based authorization, and secure configuration.
- Experience writing automated unit and integration tests for backend and frontend applications.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, build pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with observability, resilient service integrations, OpenAPI/Swagger, API versioning, enterprise design systems, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-hosted applications, containerized deployments, legacy .NET modernization, regulated industries, cross-application API and frontend contracts, technical project leadership, mentoring, and engineering-practice improvement.
