Responsibilities
- Design and develop database management systems, standards, guidelines, and quality assurance processes.
- Patch, maintain, secure, and support database systems.
- Document database designs and analyze the impact of data architecture changes.
- Develop complex programs, database code, logical processes, and application data specifications.
- Perform database testing and quality assurance in client-server environments.
- Analyze data storage mechanisms, capacity requirements, table relationships, and field interactions.
- Define database disaster recovery, backup, recovery, and archiving strategies with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Information Systems, or at least 7 years of database engineering and administration experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 4 years of experience in database engineering and administration.
- Experience with database design, implementation, documentation, management, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and data security.
- Experience translating business data needs into technical language and working with large, unstructured data from disparate sources.
- Experience with Oracle relational databases and SQL or PL/SQL.
- Preferred experience with Oracle Database 19c multitenant architecture, Oracle E-Business Suite R12 administration, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure autonomous databases, and Oracle Enterprise Manager 13.5.
- Preferred experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Python, GitHub, CyberArk, ServiceNow, OEL9, Oracle DB 26ai, and Oracle OEM 24ai.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
