Base Salary
$140k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable, maintainable data pipelines that ingest and transform data from multiple sources.
- Develop and support secure, tenant-aware APIs and integration patterns for external systems.
- Work with event-driven and batch-processing architectures to keep data fresh and consistent.
- Implement monitoring and alerting for data freshness, failures, and performance issues.
- Improve data flows and transformations while balancing cost, efficiency, and delivery speed.
- Partner with data engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to extend the integration platform and onboard new sources.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or integration engineering, with exposure to ETL, APIs, or data pipelines.
- Solid working proficiency in Python.
- Experience building against REST APIs; GraphQL or webhooks familiarity is a plus.
- Comfort with SQL and exposure to a cloud data warehouse such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- Some exposure to orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
- Willingness to work in a containerized environment using Docker.
- Bonus qualifications include authentication flows, Kubernetes or deployment tooling, enterprise data systems and APIs, event-driven architectures, real-time processing, data governance, compliance, and multi-tenant SaaS or data-intensive environments.
