Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver product features for the native iOS Nutmeg application.
- Own tasks from estimation through release and post-production support.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve prioritized defects.
- Write tests, follow engineering best practices, and maintain high-quality code.
- Own or assist with bi-weekly releases and associated processes.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Propose and contribute to technical initiatives that improve the codebase and toolset.
Requirements
- Commercial experience developing native iOS mobile applications.
- Object-oriented programming knowledge with Swift and Xcode.
- Experience writing unit tests with XCTest.
- Experience with MVVM, Coordinator, SOLID, and other relevant architecture patterns.
- Knowledge of iOS libraries and frameworks including UIKit, SwiftUI, Foundation, Security, and Combine.
- Experience deploying iOS applications, including testing, approval, and Apple Store publishing.
- Experience with automated CI/CD processes and tools; Bitrise is used by the team but is not required.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting for production applications.
- Understanding of APIs and REST.
- Experience with Git flow and strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with XCUITest, design systems, modularization, dependency injection, accessibility, mobile application security, React Native, feature flagging, A/B testing, or fintech.
- Preferred: portfolio, GitHub, or Stack Overflow examples.
