Responsibilities
- Build, review, ship, and maintain Android application code and new screens.
- Work in cross-functional feature teams and contribute to platform decisions.
- Improve the Android app, CI automations, internal tooling, and release processes.
- Prioritize security and accessibility while implementing features, fixing bugs, and making technical improvements.
- Write clean, maintainable, stable, resilient, and high-quality code.
- Develop UI and tests using the Android team’s established technologies and collaborate with QA engineers.
- Rotate through release-manager responsibilities, including supporting app-store uploads, approvals, and safer rollouts.
Requirements
- Experience developing Android applications with Kotlin.
- Ability to prioritize security and accessibility across application layers.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, stable, resilient, and high-quality code.
- Experience or willingness to work with Espresso for UI/E2E testing and JUnit for unit testing.
- Ability to take ownership of code, shipping, maintenance, knowledge sharing, and process improvement.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and highly collaborative teams.
