Responsibilities

  • Build scalable, secure, and resilient automation solutions using n8n and related integration platforms.
  • Design hybrid automation patterns using n8n, Boomi, APIs, event-driven systems, and AI agents.
  • Build AI-enabled workflows supporting intelligent decisioning, human-in-the-loop controls, prompt management, and model integrations.
  • Define reusable templates, development standards, exception handling, retry strategies, approval patterns, security protocols, environment strategies, versioning, and governance models.
  • Implement workflow logging, monitoring, reliability guardrails, anomaly detection, alerting, and recovery practices.
  • Define responsible AI governance covering model selection, cost controls, prompt and version management, data privacy, and auditability.
  • Lead technical design, workflow, architecture, and post-incident reviews.
  • Mentor engineers, contractors, and implementation teams on automation design, AI agents, prompt engineering, and responsible automation.
  • Use adoption, cycle time, service levels, recovery time, cost, and business-impact metrics to guide improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise automation, workflow engineering, integration engineering, or platform architecture.
  • Deep hands-on experience with n8n or Boomi, including cross-functional automations, AI-enabled workflows, agents, and orchestration patterns.
  • Experience designing API-first and event-driven architectures, including REST, webhooks, OAuth, JSON Web Tokens, API security, and secure AI-service integration.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including AI or machine learning services such as Amazon Bedrock or Azure OpenAI.
  • Applied experience with large language models, prompt engineering, AI agents, observability, monitoring, and automation metrics.
