Base Salary
$101k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and software development engineers to create test plans, identify coverage gaps, and improve software testability.
- Develop automated functional, performance, scalability, durability, integration, and regression tests.
- Deploy and schedule daily integration tests and communicate results through dashboards and reports.
- Maintain, refactor, and document automated test frameworks, test suites, and results dashboards.
- Conduct peer reviews of test code, measure test coverage, and analyze continuous integration results.
- Troubleshoot test frameworks, diagnose failures, repair tests, and advocate for quality and test optimization.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience using an application development language such as C#, Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with software testing tools and frameworks such as TestNG, Selenium, and/or JUnit.
- Intermediate understanding of web services, including SOAP and REST.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, Git Actions, and Jenkins.
- Applied knowledge of testing principles, including designing and executing test cases.
- Software development skills in design, refactoring, and authoring, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, experience on a large software development project, and academic training or knowledge in GIS and/or Esri software.
