Responsibilities
- Build and maintain agentic workflow components on the Duo Agent Platform, including the Core Agentic Workflow and Requirements Agent
- Write tests, documentation, and evaluations for agentic workflow behavior
- Add platform requirements, evolve the requirements schema, and improve validation tooling
- Build integrations across issues, merge requests, design documents, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Data, platform, and feature teams to create platform-readiness artifacts and domain skills
- Document and evaluate agentic workflow behavior to improve assessment accuracy
Requirements
- At least 2 years of backend-focused software engineering experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript/Node, Python, or Golang
- Comfort reading and contributing to YAML, JSON Schema, and other structured content
- Operational exposure to Kubernetes and the ability to reason about failure modes
- Experience with or exposure to LLM APIs, prompts, or agentic frameworks
- Clear written communication and ability to work asynchronously
- Ruby familiarity is highly valued
- GitLab-style development workflow experience, open source contributions, and interest in developer experience or platform engineering are valued
- Hands-on experience with agentic workflow frameworks such as DAP or LangGraph, structured requirements or specification bodies, evolving schemas, and observability are strong pluses
