Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize high-throughput distributed backend systems processing over 120 million daily offer events.
- Develop Kotlin backend services and scalable microservices using the Spring Boot ecosystem and RESTful APIs.
- Integrate existing AI systems to generate content, classify offer attributes, and transform unstructured data.
- Design and evolve vertical product experiences in the Electronics domain using Domain-Driven Architecture.
- Apply engineering best practices to deliver reliable features used by millions of customers.
- Participate in a team with autonomy over technology choices, service ownership, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Commercial experience coding in Kotlin or Java, with willingness to deepen Kotlin expertise.
- Solid commercial experience with Spring Boot for building scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Experience solving complex challenges in massive-scale distributed systems and commitment to high-quality code.
- Openness to unfamiliar technology stacks; frontend experience is a plus.
- Ability to use AI-powered tools for coding, debugging, and research.
- Effective communication in Polish and English at least at B2 level.
