Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, secure, well-tested, and documented hybrid cloud platform services.
- Build Golang RESTful services for distributed environments.
- Design for scalability and optimize performance through load balancing, caching, and resource allocation.
- Develop Kubernetes-native operators using kubebuilder and manage Kubernetes custom resources.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases and asynchronous programming.
- Set up and manage automated deployment pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton, Argo Workflows, and Argo CD.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests and incorporate them into automated test frameworks.
- Apply networking, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience, ideally with Golang.
- Significant experience building RESTful services in distributed environments.
- Strong system programming skills, including low-level interactions, memory management, and performance optimization.
- Thorough knowledge of Kubernetes container management, application packaging, and deployment customization.
- Experience developing Kubernetes-native operators with kubebuilder and managing CRDs and CRs.
- Experience with asynchronous programming, relational and non-relational databases, and hyperscalers such as GCP.
- Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton, Argo Workflows, Argo CD, GitOps, and infrastructure as code.
- Proficiency in unit and integration testing and automated test frameworks.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols, load balancing, and security.
- Strong communication, documentation, collaboration, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and independent-working skills.
