Responsibilities

Ensure the scalability, maintainability, and reliability of the company’s end-to-end pipeline.
Develop and improve production software systems.
Make architecture and design decisions with the team and deliver sustainable technical solutions.
Design, train, and integrate machine-learning models into production applications, APIs, pipelines, and services.
Develop computer-vision applications involving documents, images, layouts, and OCR-related topics, as well as graph neural networks.
Evaluate and pragmatically apply classical machine learning, deep learning, and multimodal foundation-model approaches.
Work closely with Product and Business teams to turn requirements into practical AI solutions.

Completed degree in computer science, software engineering, AI, mathematics, or a related field, or comparable training.
At least 5 years of professional software-development experience and experience delivering complex software projects.
Very strong Python development skills; C++ knowledge is advantageous.
Broad, well-founded knowledge of machine learning and practical experience with supervised learning, unsupervised learning, deep learning, models, and algorithms.
Knowledge of computer vision or motivation to deepen expertise in the field, plus understanding of multimodal text-and-image approaches.
Experience with OCR, document processing, or layout analysis is preferred.
Ability to solve complex technical problems and integrate solutions into production.
Strong ownership, structured execution, reliable delivery, and clear, solution-oriented communication.
Very good German and English skills.
