Base Salary
$80k - $106k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end test strategies, define exit criteria, and contribute to the quality automation roadmap.
- Provide quality assurance for data engineering, data lake, data warehouse, ETL, and data pipeline systems.
- Develop and execute automated tests for RESTful services and software applications.
- Collaborate with squad members, product development teams, external teams, and management to complete testing activities.
- Participate in quality engineering, development, DevOps stories, story estimation, sprint planning, and lifecycle quality coordination.
- Promote quality engineering innovation and move quality activities earlier in the development process.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of software development or relevant experience is desired.
- 6–9 years of software quality assurance or equivalent experience is desired.
- At least 2 years of big data, data lake, or data warehouse experience is desired.
- Expert knowledge of application software development, QA principles, and agile methodology.
- Strong SQL skills and Java and Python development experience.
- Experience with software test automation for RESTful services using Cucumber, JUnit, Selenium, Rest Assured, Git, Gradle, and Maven.
- Experience with big data technologies and tools, including Snowflake, Airflow, AWS, and Azure.
- Experience with big data reporting tools such as OBIEE, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Experience with ETL and data pipeline testing for data warehouse platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines; ISTQB certification and iCEDQ experience are preferred.
- Experience in retirement plan administration or financial services is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with product development teams, external teams, and management.
