Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java, Spring, and distributed application technologies.
- Conduct systems analysis and programming to support application performance, reliability, stability, and scalability.
- Use SQL and Stored Procedures for database interaction and data management.
- Collaborate with global development teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define solutions and deliver integrated projects.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities including concept, design, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement.
- Operate and troubleshoot applications in Linux environments while managing evolving priorities and multiple deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Proven experience implementing successful software projects from inception through completion.
- Strong hands-on Java application development skills and experience with the Spring framework.
- Deep experience with Test-Driven Development practices and Microservices architecture.
- Solid hands-on experience with SQL and Stored Procedures.
- Proficiency in Linux environments.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and caching products such as Redis or Gemfire.
- Working knowledge of project management techniques and agile methodologies.
- Strong collaboration, verbal communication, written communication, adaptability, and continuous-learning skills.
- Preferred experience with React, modern web technologies, HTML5, CSS, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and MS SQL Server.
