Responsibilities
- Own and build key frontend and backend product features that streamline debugging and monitoring for developers.
- Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers, solve their challenges, and incorporate feedback into the product roadmap.
- Improve HyperDX and ClickStack to efficiently analyze petabyte-scale observability data.
- Develop analysis tools that help engineers identify and resolve production issues.
- Scale the cloud-hosted platform for reliable, high-performance customer use.
- Help shape the developer experience and product direction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably building developer tools.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills with experience using Next.js and Express.
- Strong proficiency in React.js.
- Proficiency in SQL for query generation on ClickHouse.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Passion for open source and the developer community.
- Experience creating developer tooling and designing for developers.
- Bonus: expertise in distributed systems and event ingestion pipelines.
- Bonus: experience with columnar databases.
- Bonus: familiarity with Python, Rust, or PHP for building integrations.
- Bonus: experience with SDKs.
