Senior Software Engineer, Java - Network Team

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the software codebase, systems, and architecture as part of the engineering team.
- Create and optimize network device models for different vendors and protocols.
- Develop infrastructure to configure, collect data from, and test network devices.
- Apply software development practices to networking products while collaborating with experts in networking, distributed systems, big data, and search.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years of professional Java experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related degree.
- Solid software engineering experience working with large codebases.
- Basic understanding of networking and TCP/IP.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, or load balancers.
- Preferred: experience with BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, VLAN, or VXLAN.
