Base Salary
$90k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Go.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for high-volume data.
- Build reliable orchestration and integration layers across internal and third-party systems.
- Implement metrics, distributed tracing, and observability across services.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team on improving the overall Developer Experience.
- Implement security best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend, fullstack, and the broader engineering team.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience with Go and designing REST APIs.
- Experience writing optimized PostgreSQL queries.
- Comfortable building reliable integrations with third-party APIs and services.
- Prior startup experience and willingness to get hands dirty.
- Pragmatic approach to building solutions quickly without unnecessary complexity.
- Expert time management skills, comfortable operating outside of the 9-5 mentality.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and wear many hats.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of technical proficiency.
- Experience with architecting, building, and maintaining SaaS platform backends.
