Base Salary
$90k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Go
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for high-volume data
- Build reliable orchestration and integration layers across internal and third-party systems
- Implement metrics, distributed tracing, and observability across services
- Improve the overall developer experience with the engineering team
- Implement security best practices
- Collaborate with frontend, full-stack, and broader engineering teams
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience with Go and designing REST APIs
- Experience writing optimized PostgreSQL queries and architecting, building, and maintaining SaaS platform backends
- Experience building reliable integrations with third-party APIs and services
- Experience working in a fast-moving startup engineering environment
- Strong communication, time management, adaptability, pragmatism, and ownership
- Bonus experience with gRPC or similar tools, TypeScript, workflow engines, queue-based job orchestration, or information security
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is listed as bonus experience
