Responsibilities
- Support configuration management for large, multi-site code and test projects.
- Administer source-control systems and support SCM processes.
- Develop and maintain build tools and build/test infrastructure.
- Write expert-level scripts using shells, Python, or Perl.
- Support UNIX environments as a user and preferably as an administrator.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, manage complex projects and operational requests, and learn new technologies rapidly.
Requirements
- Experience with configuration management for large projects with extensive code and test bases, multiple sites, and hundreds of users.
- Administrative exposure to one or more of Perforce, Git, Mercurial, CVS, RCS, or ClearCase.
- Expertise with build tools and SCM processes.
- Expert-level scripting skills, including shells, Python, or Perl.
- UNIX expertise as a user and preferably as an administrator.
- BTech, M.Tech, or MCA in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Preferred experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks, AJAX, relational or flat databases, and tools including Coverity, Valgrind, Purify, Quantify, gcov, gprof, and Sanitizers.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, multitasking, and learning skills.
