Base Salary
$140k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution delivery across discovery and delivery tracks, including prototyping, technical design, implementation, delivery sign-off, and post-release support.
- Use AI and agentic workflows for design, coding, prototyping, test-case creation, documentation, and automated validation.
- Lead client workshops, present technical solutions, make trade-off decisions, drive approvals, and act as a platform subject-matter expert.
- Personally implement critical components and complex features, review implementation-team deliverables, and enforce code-quality and non-functional standards.
- Produce ADRs, interface contracts, data models, sequencing diagrams, migration and rollback plans, and traceability matrices.
- Mentor engineers on AI-assisted development, specification-driven design, Dual-Track workflows, and platform best practices.
- Contribute to platform strategy, reusable assets, API-first designs, risk mitigation, backward compatibility, data integrity, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with current daily hands-on coding and prototyping.
- 5+ years building cloud-native, microservices, or event-driven systems using Azure or equivalent cloud platforms.
- Strong proficiency with Java/Spring Boot and TypeScript with React or Vue.
- Experience owning end-to-end delivery for medium-to-large projects, including design, implementation, and post-release operations.
- Strong experience with REST/OpenAPI, messaging platforms, SQL/NoSQL databases, CI/CD, containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, deployment tooling, automated testing, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Practical experience using generative AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor with measurable delivery impact.
- Strong stakeholder communication, mentoring, code review, technical leadership, and engineering-practice skills.
- Preferred qualifications include retail POS and store-operations knowledge, Azure or equivalent cloud certifications, enterprise security and compliance experience, Dual-Track Agile leadership, platform strategy experience, and expertise with OpenAPI, UML+OCL, TLA+, or equivalent specifications.
