Responsibilities
- Design, describe, and manage end-to-end solution architecture across frontend, backend, databases, infrastructure, middleware, and integrations.
- Shape technical vision, distributed-system designs, architecture blueprints, technology strategies, and integration patterns for APIs and real-time events.
- Assess and implement Master Data Management and Customer 360 solutions, including customer data models and operational customer repositories.
- Lead code reviews, prototype development, testing strategy, integration and build automation, deployment, issue analysis, and production resolution.
- Define service-level objectives, reliability and scalability approaches, observability standards, and architectural infrastructure for complex systems.
- Monitor architectural compliance, technology debt, risk, regulatory concerns, and ongoing project or product progress.
- Present architecture decisions to executives, senior architects, review boards, governance groups, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor and train junior colleagues, contribute to capability development, and provide technical thought leadership across practices and teams.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or technical certificate; a bachelor's degree is also stated, with a graduate degree preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience developing a variety of platforms.
- 10+ years of experience as a solutions architect, integration architect, application architect, or enterprise architect.
- Experience with n-Tier architectures, frameworks, conceptual and logical reference architectures, current and future-state diagrams, and architecture blueprints.
- Experience assessing customer management, Master Data Management, Customer/Party domain, and Customer 360 products, platforms, and technologies.
- Experience implementing MDM or Customer 360 solutions and understanding customer data models in banking, wealth management, or insurance.
- Ability to design integration patterns for APIs and real-time events around operational customer repositories.
- Working knowledge of Informatica MDM, Azure Cloud, and Databricks is an asset.
- Experience presenting to executive audiences, senior architects, and review boards.
- Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, pair programming, Test-Driven Development, and unit, integration, and functional testing experience are assets.
- Strong communication, collaboration, client-facing, change leadership, business acumen, and organizational awareness skills.
