Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Jenkins and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for frequent multi-environment deployments across client tenants.
- Own and evolve the Kubernetes EKS platform and GitOps delivery with ArgoCD.
- Create and maintain Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure, including networking, compute, databases, messaging, serverless, CDN, identity, secrets, and storage services.
- Support AWS Lambda and event-driven architectures using SQS, SNS, and Kafka.
- Manage AWS Amplify deployments for Next.js web applications.
- Build automation for environment and secrets configuration, client onboarding, and multi-account AWS management.
- Improve observability, alerting, on-call runbooks, and incident response processes.
- Partner with backend and frontend engineers on infrastructure-related pull requests and feature delivery.
- Contribute to security and compliance practices, including secrets management, access control, and audit trails.
- Mentor engineers on infrastructure and deployment best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering role; 6+ years for senior-level consideration.
- Production experience with AWS, including EKS/Kubernetes, Lambda, IAM, VPC networking, and CloudFront.
- Strong Terraform experience with reusable modules, state management, and drift or locking troubleshooting.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with GitOps workflows and tools such as ArgoCD.
- Operational experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
- Understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and API Gateway patterns.
- Experience debugging production incidents across distributed, multi-service architectures.
- Scripting proficiency with Bash, Python, or similar.
- Experience with Kafka, SQS, SNS, AWS Amplify, or Next.js deployment pipelines is preferred.
- Experience with regulated-industry infrastructure, multi-account or multi-tenant AWS environments, mentoring, or leading infrastructure initiatives is preferred.
