Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain Jenkins and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for frequent multi-environment deployments across client tenants.
  • Own and evolve the Kubernetes EKS platform and GitOps delivery with ArgoCD.
  • Create and maintain Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure, including networking, compute, databases, messaging, serverless, CDN, identity, secrets, and storage services.
  • Support AWS Lambda and event-driven architectures using SQS, SNS, and Kafka.
  • Manage AWS Amplify deployments for Next.js web applications.
  • Build automation for environment and secrets configuration, client onboarding, and multi-account AWS management.
  • Improve observability, alerting, on-call runbooks, and incident response processes.
  • Partner with backend and frontend engineers on infrastructure-related pull requests and feature delivery.
  • Contribute to security and compliance practices, including secrets management, access control, and audit trails.
  • Mentor engineers on infrastructure and deployment best practices.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering role; 6+ years for senior-level consideration.
  • Production experience with AWS, including EKS/Kubernetes, Lambda, IAM, VPC networking, and CloudFront.
  • Strong Terraform experience with reusable modules, state management, and drift or locking troubleshooting.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with GitOps workflows and tools such as ArgoCD.
  • Operational experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
  • Understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and API Gateway patterns.
  • Experience debugging production incidents across distributed, multi-service architectures.
  • Scripting proficiency with Bash, Python, or similar.
  • Experience with Kafka, SQS, SNS, AWS Amplify, or Next.js deployment pipelines is preferred.
  • Experience with regulated-industry infrastructure, multi-account or multi-tenant AWS environments, mentoring, or leading infrastructure initiatives is preferred.
