Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for customer engagements.
- Define enterprise and solution architecture, including integration, data models, ingestion pipelines, and user-facing solutions.
- Manage integrations, data modeling, and related work using Cognite connectors and extractors, SQL, Python, Java, and cloud platforms.
- Support operational responsibility and support agreements through successful solution delivery.
- Build relationships with customers, C-level executives, IT teams, and business data managers to drive adoption.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management to prioritize customer-driven product offerings.
- Train internal teams and partners and develop technical and business expertise in Cognite products.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer.
- Technical background with the ability and willingness to contribute code to advanced topics.
- Hands-on Python experience and strong knowledge of software development best practices.
- Ability to collaborate, lead, coach, communicate effectively, and work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to travel.
- Experience in Data Engineering is preferred.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Energy, Oil and Gas, Pharma, or Life Sciences is preferred.
