Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for industrial customers.
- Define enterprise and solution architectures, integration and data models, data ingestion pipelines, and user-facing solutions.
- Provide strategic and technical expertise to customers and customer-facing project teams.
- Manage integrations, data modeling, and related activities using Cognite data connectors and extractors, SQL, Python or Java, REST APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Establish operational responsibility and support agreements for delivered solutions.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, C-level executives, and IT and Business Data Managers to drive product adoption.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management to translate customer needs into prioritized product offerings.
- Train internal teams and partners, and lead and coach colleagues in the area of specialization.
- Maintain technical and business expertise in Cognite products.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of experience working as a Data Engineer.
- Technical background with the ability and willingness to contribute code for advanced topics.
- Hands-on Python experience and strong familiarity with software development best practices.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, collaborate, lead, coach, and communicate effectively.
- Openness to travel.
- Experience in Data Engineering is preferred.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Energy, Oil and Gas, Pharma, or Life Sciences is preferred.
