Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for software issues and contain field escalations that do not require code changes.
- Analyze complex software, IT, database, hardware, and computing issues; reproduce customer problems; perform root-cause analysis; and provide troubleshooting plans and technical solutions.
- Participate in software road-map milestones, feature reviews, customer demonstrations, new product introductions, and support inputs for future releases.
- Perform customer-site installations and software upgrades, troubleshoot complex cases, and support local teams.
- Develop training programs, documentation, procedures, best-known methods, support specifications, improvements, utilities, and other support infrastructure.
- Collect end-user pain points, develop in-house tools, and collaborate with DevOps to improve customer experience.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in technical support or a comparable Tier 3 role.
- Experience learning and understanding multidisciplinary, large-scale systems.
- Experience with Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or another technical field.
- Willingness to work off hours and weekends and travel up to 20%.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Self-learning capability and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
- Experience in software development, software testing, and integration is advantageous.
