Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and operate secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Operate and optimize AWS EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and Glue services.
- Manage Snowflake cloud data warehouse databases and roles.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Configure and maintain IAM, Secrets Manager, and WAF security controls.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure with Dynatrace.
- Work with Apache Kafka and EBS streaming and storage technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile/Scrum environment and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services including EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and Glue.
- Proficiency managing Snowflake databases and roles.
- Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise.
- Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Deep understanding of cloud security controls including IAM, Secrets Manager, and WAF.
- Hands-on Apache Kafka and EBS experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and SQL, with strong Linux knowledge.
- Experience with Dynatrace monitoring.
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or comparable qualification through professional experience.
- Fluent English communication skills; basic German is a plus.
- Preferred qualifications include Tableau, dbt, UC4, Windows Server 2022, Power BI, Apache Flink, PL/SQL, Golang, Flyway, GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Amazon Q.
