Base Salary
$119k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, high-impact technology initiatives and contribute to companywide engineering standards and best practices.
- Design and develop scalable, resilient microservices using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Build and enhance responsive, high-performing user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and architectural planning.
- Review complex technology solutions and make tactical and strategic recommendations for enterprise technical challenges.
- Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve complex issues.
- Influence technology teams, drive new initiatives, and mentor junior engineers.
- Apply modern technologies including Generative AI and integration tools to deliver scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 4+ years of experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot for scalable microservices.
- 4+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React and TypeScript.
- 3+ years of experience with API design and development, including RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- 2+ years of experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Desired experience includes Git, Kafka, Redis, AI/ML concepts, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, microservices architecture, distributed systems, API-driven architecture, cloud environments, observability, and DevOps/CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of frontend-backend integration patterns and deep expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems design.
