Responsibilities
- Analyze network data to develop code and configuration files.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews.
- Participate in research and development activities focused on security feature innovation.
- Deploy, operate, test, and troubleshoot internal code and configurations affecting end users.
- Take ownership of problems and develop solutions within assigned responsibilities.
- Work independently with minimal technical supervision while managing multiple program priorities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software development, network engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in one or more of Python, C, or C++.
- Good SQL querying skills and knowledge of PySpark.
- Basic understanding of computer networking and network protocols, including the OSI stack.
- Experience analyzing data and using it to develop software or configuration solutions.
- Understanding of code reviews, debugging, testing, and other software development best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience with Wi-Fi products or features, Wireshark, Linux/Unix environments, configuration management or automation, and cloud or distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
