Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product engineers to design, build, run, and evolve internal platforms.
- Write software and tooling to automate platform, infrastructure, environment, deployment, and operational processes.
- Create standardized tooling for deploying and running applications using engineering best practices.
- Maintain reliable, secure, and scalable underlying infrastructure.
- Build self-service platforms that are secure and available without manual approval.
- Continuously improve platform technology, engineer efficiency, and developer experience.
- Implement infrastructure controls and automation using programming languages such as Python and Go.
- Participate in cross-group engineering and technology initiatives.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer, DevSecOps, DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineer in a cloud environment.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.
- Strong scripting or programming experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, and YAML, plus Windows and Linux Server experience.
- Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK, AWS CodeBuild, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Jenkins, and CI/CD automation tools.
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Observe, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty.
- Exposure to AI models and secure AI approaches.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Advanced Kubernetes networking, security, and controller/operator knowledge is desirable.
- Experience with testing tools such as Blazemeter is desirable.
- Bachelor of Engineering, BTech, or equivalent graduation.
