Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architecture, system interdependencies, application stacks, and operating procedures.
- Design, program, simulate, test, and maintain automation products, processes, frameworks, tools, and reusable libraries.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, scenarios, and usage cases for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Develop automated software validation processes and track coverage, defects, resolutions, bug fixes, and mitigation techniques.
- Implement and report quality, coverage, deployment, issue-resolution, and automation-performance metrics.
- Collaborate with development, Agile delivery, business SME, testing, support, client, and project management teams.
- Support acceptance-criteria creation, test automation backlogs, continuous deployment practices, and automation requirements analysis.
- Perform backend/database programming for key projects and document automation processes, test cases, debug data, and performance reviews.
- Provide technical problem resolution, tester and support assistance, and client escalation management.
- Maintain awareness of industry standards and develop programs according to Wipro standards and accepted design patterns.
Requirements
- Mandatory Python full-stack experience.
- 3–5 years of professional experience.
- Experience designing and executing automated testing for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Experience developing automation frameworks, reusable libraries, automated testing tools, test cases, and software validation processes.
- Ability to perform backend/database programming and resolve complex technical design and system problems.
- Ability to collaborate with development teams, clients, users, testers, support personnel, and business subject matter experts.
- Ability to create technical specifications, plans, documentation, metrics, and defect-tracking information.
