Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Operate and support applications in cloud environments, including Kubernetes-based microservices and PostgreSQL and MongoDB deployments.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Automate infrastructure and environment management with Terraform, Packer, Bash, Groovy, and related tools.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability using Dynatrace or similar tools.
- Support service and database migration between Azure and AWS.
- Conduct or support security tests, disaster recovery tests, and infrastructure-related audits.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams while taking responsibility for operating deployed systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar cloud operations role.
- More than 3 years of experience with Kubernetes.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Azure and AWS.
- Thorough knowledge of Linux or a similar Unix operating system.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Experience deploying microservices with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Packer, and other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Groovy, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with Dynatrace or similar monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, independent work, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Azure-to-AWS service and database migration, security testing, disaster recovery testing, infrastructure audits, and AI tools is preferred.
