Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Set technical strategy for the AI Teammates execution engine, tool orchestration, and platform APIs.
- Architect and own a composable platform foundation that enables product teams to build agentic capabilities.
- Lead initiatives involving proactivity, MCP integrations, model evaluations, latency tuning, cost optimization, and frontier LLM updates.
- Drive high standards for architecture, reliability, evaluation methodologies, and engineering velocity.
- Collaborate with engineering, Product Management, Design, Data Science, User Research, and external model providers.
- Mentor engineers, provide candid feedback, and identify technical growth opportunities.
- Plan timelines, mitigate risks, manage stakeholders, and coordinate technical execution.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience in large codebases with strong backend, systems, or reliability fundamentals.
- 2+ years leading engineering teams or serving as a technical lead, with experience driving technical strategy, timeline planning, and risk mitigation.
- Experience or deep interest in applied AI or agentic systems, including agent orchestration, tool integration, model evaluation frameworks, RAG, or production LLM observability.
- Deep project management experience involving timeline planning, risk mitigation, stakeholder management, and coordination of others.
- Ability to transition between contexts and codebases and unblock teammates on complex technical problems.
- Passion for mentoring engineers at all skill levels and providing thoughtful, candid feedback.
