Responsibilities
- Build and customize ServiceNow applications using data tables, user interfaces, business logic, workflows, and application modules.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications using web services, scripted REST APIs, XML, REST, SOAP, and other web technologies.
- Perform ServiceNow version upgrades, application rollouts, configuration changes, and environment consistency management.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving custom applications, system integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
- Provide ongoing production and end-user support while driving continuous improvement of processes, standards, policies, tools, and working methods.
- Manage and lead integration of new products based on client requirements.
- Estimate work effort, evaluate application software and testing tools, and contribute to user manuals and technical reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or 6–7 years of knowledge of computer programming languages with at least 3 years of ServiceNow work experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow Development Platform, including custom development, application configuration, workflows, upgrades, ITSM, ITOM, dashboards and reports, Performance Analytics, Knowledge Base, SOAR, and SecOps.
- Experience with system integration using web services and web technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST, and SOAP.
- Programming proficiency in JavaScript, C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies, with working knowledge of at least two of Java/J2EE, C#/C++, VB/.NET, Perl, Python, SQL, or JavaScript/AJAX.
- Fundamental knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP ports, firewalls, network protocols, and IP networks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with administrators, users, and clients.
