Base Salary
$197k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Deliver robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Develop and maintain software using multiple programming languages, databases, container orchestration services, and AWS tools.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
- Identify improvement opportunities, reduce technical debt, and optimize system performance.
- Influence long-term technology strategy and mentor members of the engineering community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience is required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, 7+ years coding in multiple listed languages, database experience, cloud experience, open-source framework contributions, front-end framework experience, API development, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code experience, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, observability, AI-based coding tools, mentoring, and technical initiative leadership.
