Responsibilities
- Plan, code, deploy, test, debug, and commission control programs for Crestron, Extron, AMX, or Q-SYS systems.
- Design and customize graphical user interfaces for touch panels, iPads, and web control applications.
- Configure, gain-stage, and calibrate audio DSP files for acoustic performance, echo cancellation, and signal routing.
- Maintain version-controlled source code repositories and conduct peer reviews of junior programmers’ code.
- Integrate IP-addressable AV devices with client and internal IT/network environments, including firewalls and AV-over-IP streams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including configuration files, IP sheets, API endpoint maps, and user guides.
Requirements
- Deep, proven proficiency in at least one major AV ecosystem such as Crestron SIMPL Windows/C#, Q-SYS Designer, or Extron Global Configurator Plus/Professional.
- Strong familiarity with JavaScript, Python, C#, or C++.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, subnets, VLANs, routing, and network security protocols.
- Exceptional analytical and diagnostic skills for complex system-level hardware and software faults.
