Responsibilities

Serve as the embedded Quality Assurance representative for the Mastercam Copilot team.
Design and execute exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for AI-powered, cloud-connected, and desktop-integrated workflows.
Develop test strategies and realistic customer scenarios based on manufacturing use cases, emerging technologies, requirements, and real-world usage patterns.
Evaluate AI-powered experiences for accuracy, consistency, usability, reliability, and customer alignment.
Assess security, privacy, data-handling, and cloud-integration risks.
Investigate unexpected behavior, identify quality gaps, and communicate actionable findings and recommendations.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and UX teams to clarify requirements, identify risks, and shape solutions.
Contribute to Agile planning, product discussions, continuous improvement, and evolving quality practices.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
4–5+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, application engineering, manufacturing software, or a related technical field.
Experience designing and executing tests for software applications, integrated systems, web applications, or cloud-connected solutions.
Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, communication, and issue-resolution skills.
Ability to work proactively, adapt to changing priorities, learn technologies and business domains quickly, and collaborate in an Agile environment.
Experience with manufacturing software, manufacturing processes, or engineering workflows.
Experience with Mastercam, CAD/CAM software, CNC machining, digital manufacturing, or related technologies is valued.
Experience testing AI-powered products, Copilot-style experiences, conversational interfaces, web applications, APIs, cloud services, or desktop-to-cloud integrations is valued.
Experience with automated testing, scripting, CI/CD practices, or modern quality engineering approaches is valued.
Familiarity with security, privacy, data retention, responsible data handling, globally distributed teams, and ISTQB certification or equivalent training is valued.
